The Capanna Leopoldina, dating back to the first half of the 18th century as marked on the first Tuscan land register, has been completely restored and now offers 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, while maintaining its typical Tuscan style with wood beamed ceilings and terracotta floors that are so typical for the old barns in the Chianti region. The house is part of a farm comprising 2 other apartments and the owners house.
The Capanna Leopoldina is a beautiful and independent country house from whose panoramic terrace it’s possible to admire the beautiful Hills of the Chianti region. Not far from the old town of Castellina in Chianti, the house offers its guests an unforgettable holiday in the heart of Tuscany, thanks to the relax area in the shade of secular oaks and elm trees near the house.
It’s possible to reach the town afoot with an easy walk (500 meters) through the vineyards.
